Meet Tawnie Breaux | CEO Marketing Agency

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tawnie Breaux and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tawnie, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Is giving up allowed? Absolutely. I like to say “reassessing my options” and no longer doing something is a valid option. But deciding whether to keep going or let go is a deeply personal choice, and it’s okay to take your time with it. Here’s how I approach it:
First, I like to make lists—pros and cons, specifically. Write down everything you enjoy about the situation and everything you don’t. Having a clear visual of the positives and negatives can bring clarity. Then, before making any major decision, take a step back. Sleep on it. Pray and reflect. Give yourself the space to process before deciding your next move.
Ultimately, there are only five actions you can take in any situation:
1. Suffer and remain a victim.
2. Avoid the situation altogether.
3. Change the situation.
4. Alter your perspective and experience.
5. Accept it as it is.
Whatever you choose, remember it’s your decision. No one else can make it for you. That’s why understanding your why—the purpose driving you—is essential. Your “why” will keep you grounded on the hard days. If you don’t have one, take the time to find it.
Life decisions are hard; whether you’re starting a new business, hiring or firing your first employee, or navigating personal relationships, life will present challenges. Learn from those hard days, pick yourself up, and make a plan to move forward. There is a plan and a purpose for your life.
Try not to take things personally or make assumptions. Those habits often lead to unnecessary heartache. Remember you’ve got this, no matter what you decide. Believe in yourself and trust the process.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! My shoutout goes to a few key sources that have been instrumental in shaping my journey.
First and foremost, my incredible team and clients. They are the heartbeat of everything I do. Their dedication, creativity, and perseverance inspire me every single day. They don’t just show up—they bring their whole selves to the table, and that energy is contagious. Every success we’ve achieved is a direct reflection of their hard work and commitment, and I couldn’t be more grateful for them.
My community extends to my church and civic groups. I have met my best friends in church and networking groups. The friends and support you find when surrounding yourself with kind, like-minded, successful people is essential to your success. Find your tribe.
I also love Don Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements. This book profoundly shifted my mindset and approach to personal and professional life. Its principles—being impeccable with your word, not taking things personally, avoiding assumptions, and always doing your best—serve as a daily guide to staying aligned with my values and fostering meaningful relationships.
Each of these influences—my team, clients, and community—has played a critical role in my story, and I’m beyond grateful for their impact on my growth and journey. They are a beautiful reminder that we never achieve success alone, and I’ll always carry these lessons and support systems with me.
