Meet Tianna Jenkins | Creative Director & Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tianna Jenkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tianna, what is the most important factor behind your success?
When I started CosignedByGod, I started a brand that will have longevity unity, fellowship, and unlimited favor from God. When I launched CosignedByGod on July 15, 2021, I had no idea how impactful this brand will be to the world. All I had was a little bit of faith the size of a mustard seed. I didn’t have those miraculous long business plans or marketing plans in place like most businesses.. I truly live to allow the Lord to order my footsteps and everything pertaining CosignedByGod. The most important factor behind CosignedByGod success is that it’s driven by the Kingdom Of God and not secular driven. Worldly success only display materialistic factors and we are far from those meanings of success. Everyday I wake up I choose God and God’s people, and that along will allow us to continue to grow towards more success and greater opportunities as well.

Other than allowing God to fill in that threshold for our success, We also believe that networking, great content, consistency, and connections are valid when it comes to growing your brand. Overall, working with the right team is very essential for us as we continue to strive higher in the fashion industry. We’ve recently just recruited a creative practitioner from Ghana by the name of Nana Kwesi aka “Yeezy Smalls” to join our team. We are moving forward to bring more ethical visuals to CosignedByGod and we are striving to dominate the streets of Ghana while working with our creative practitioner.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
CosignedByGod is a Premium Christian Lifestyle Brand centered around God and God’s people. We are the brand that loves God. We create simplistic streetwear for the Kingdom Of God. We are built from love, strength, faith, unity, fellowship, and community. We are different because we wake up every single day and we choose God’s people. I don’t know many brands who are selfless to care for the people wholeheartedly without Hollywood tendencies. It don’t matter how huge we become over the next few years, we will NEVER act Hollywood. I want to always celebrate our wins with our supporters and be there for them as well.

We are called by God to bring others closer to God, to reiterate people back to his love and his word. I believe we are set apart from many businesses because of our marketing approach, mission statement, and the weight we hold when it comes to christianity. We accept everyone regardless of your beliefs. I am most proud of being the 1st ever Christian Lifestyle Brand to feature in Forbes. It feels good to bring God to high valued spaces, because I serve a high valued GOD! I am also excited to be working with Grammy Nominated Gospel Artist Tye Tribbett. I recently started working with his two daughters ages 18 and 15. They are official affiliates for CosignedByGod. I thank God for allowing me to work with the youth. I have a huge heart for the youth.

Faith, prayer, and connections allowed me to get to the level I am in life. I don’t take it very lightly. I always strive to be different. I don’t want to follow a crowd in life. I strive to follow God and allow him to structure my steps. I’ve been working towards this for over a decade. I truly believe that it all starts from the beginning. The path was never easy and it’s still not easy til this day. I experienced so many dry seasons in entrepreneurship. I overcame some of those challenges by just taking a different approach when it comes to business and branding. I’ve learned that the branding phase of a business is the most important phase of the brand. I invested in some courses and even applied free information that helped me along the way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love art museums, restaurants with beautiful aesthetics, nature, and places where relaxation can take place on a higher note. My best friend and I will explore the whole city of Houston. I love to tap into nature and aesthetically pleasing environments. On the Itinerary, we will start off with brunch at Taste Bar just to set the tone for the day. After having brunch, we will go on a spa date to a luxury spa and get face masks and massages. After our spa date, we will hit memorial park and tap into some nature. I love how skin can soak up the sun. That’s very important to both of us! In the afternoon, I will take us to eat some street tacos at one of my favorite taco trucks called Lokos Tacos off of Walters Rd and Fm 1960.

So long story short, me and my best friend are so identical. We love the same things, and we live for aesthetics and dope visuals when it comes to almost everything. Shoutout to my Best friend Nana Kwesi!!! I Thank God everyday for the bond and connection that we have. We are versions of each other.

During our city vacay we have to dwell into meditation and prayer. We both are lovers of God. I would love to meditate inside of a sauna and pray to God. A sauna is so relaxing for me. Having a museum date is a must! We will explore contemporary art museums in the city and fine art museums. We both are into fashion, sneakers, and aesthetics through style and different pieces. My museum will consist of some ripped blue denim jeans, some off-white nike dunks, some Chale socks for a pop of color and pattern, a vintage t-shirt with a oversized blazer, a cute oversized tote, and some dope Bohten eyeglasses, Nana Kwesi on the other hand, I know he will match the aesthetics. He’s a fashion visionary and very well dressed photographer. He’s a Creative practitioner and an art connoisseur who will capture moments and dope pictures through his lens. This is just an inside scoop of how a date with my best friend will go!!!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I can’t live this life or operate this business with GOD. Thank you GOD, and shoutout to being an amazing provider. I can’t thank God enough on my entrepreneurial journey.

I want to say thanks to the Marketing Guru Kristole Perkins for always having a heart to help her clients. She taught me a lot about business overall. I remember in 2019, I was crying and broken down while expressing my business concerns to her. he truly was an ear for me. I love everything about her and Perkins Marketing.

Prophet Javon Maule, thank you for always prophesying a word from God into my life. The words from the prophet are truly coming to past every single day. It’s a beautiful feeling when God connects someone to your life prophetically. I remember back in Jan of 2021, he prophesied that God wanted me to keep my eyes open for the Fortune 500 companies, Essence Magazine, Essence Festivals, and so much more. Six months later, CosignedByGod is the first Christian Lifestyle Brand in the world to ever feature in Forbes. This was a very huge accomplishment for the brand this year.

I also want to shoutout my father Steve Jones for always supporting me in business. Everytime I launch anything, I always talk to him about my plans, connections, and so much more.

Big shout out to Nana Kwesi aka Yeezy Smalls whose a brilliant Creative Practitioner/Art Connoisseur from Ghana. Nana always supported my business ideas over the past five years and I truly hold him close to my heart forever. His work ethic is aesthetically pleasing and so appreciated.
