Meet Tianna Jenkins | Creative Practitioner of CosignedByGod and CosignedByGod Public Relations Group

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tianna Jenkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tianna, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
When I started CosignedByGod, I knew I wanted to start a brand that was catered to believers but not only limited to believers. I had to implement healthy habits into my journey to see the growth of my brand. I want to elaborate on the fact that I didn’t have a business plan or marketing plan in front of me. I winged my way into starting CosignedByGod because I am a Christian, a believer, a lover of God and God’s people. My main goal was to bridge faith and fashion together. I have a huge heart for creating motivational content and inspiring others. I took what I knew and ran with it. I utilized my resources and I got the job done during a lot of noise around me. Every brand needs a publicist to represent their company and good public relations results depend upon the branding of your company, of course. I didn’t have a PR company representing me, I represented CosignedByGod myself. I pitched professionally, sent numerous emails, follow-up emails, made many connections, and grew the brand in under a year. It was hard, but it was a process I will always duplicate over and over. These are the main habits I’ve followed that have allowed me to succeed.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

CosignedByGod is a way of living in your truth without a secular point of view. CosignedByGod is Kingdom approval and Kingdom credentials only. God is everything we need in order to live this life intentionally for him. We no longer have to rely on our own standards, because the standard of God is far beyond any lifestyle we could ever imagine. The world will never validate your existence because God has already paved the way for some of your greatest blessings to find you. God’s approval is nobody’s denial. When God says yes, nobody can reject your plans. Your existence is a reflection of God, and God has already Cosigned your future. We are also partnering with the 37th Annual Stellar Awards this year. I will be in ATL July 15th-16th, and I am so excited about the partnership. The Stellar Awards will air on the BET channel. We will be providing 200 CosignedByGod goodies/gift bags to the nominees, media personalities, TV Personalities, and radio personalities.

CosignedByGod is different from a lot of brands because we are multi-purposed all around the board. When I spoke with Guap Magazine almost 9 months ago, I spoke about some things I wanted to incorporate over time. One of the things I wanted to incorporate was the Public relations dept for CosignedByGod. I did that! I actually launched it on March 1st, 2022. The journey was never easy, but I was dedicated to showing up for myself daily and getting things done no matter what. I had a lot of days when I wanted to give up and just stop showing up for CosignedByGod because I was dealing with some things from other people who have disrespected me, taken away from me, and all kinds of disheartening stuff. I had to cut ties with people are were dysfunctional and move on with my life.

I am most proud of the things I’ve been able to accomplish with CosignedByGod so far. As Nipsey said, life’s a marathon, not a race. The lesson I’ve learned is everyone can’t go with you and some people are supposed to be on the sideline looking. I want the world to know that you are allowed to remove any and everybody who’s affecting your mental health. Business is already hard, so you don’t need to carry any extra baggage.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love art museums, restaurants with beautiful aesthetics, nature, and places where relaxation can take place on a higher note. My best friend and I will explore the whole city of Houston. I love to tap into nature and aesthetically pleasing environments. On the Itinerary, we will start off with brunch at Taste Bar just to set the tone for the day. After having brunch, we will go on a spa date to a luxury spa and get face masks and massages. After our spa date, we will hit memorial park and tap into some nature. I love how skin can soak up the sun. That’s very important to both of us! In the afternoon, I will take us to eat some street tacos at one of my favorite taco trucks called Lokos Tacos off of Walters Rd and Fm 1960.

So long story short, I and my best friend are so identical. We love the same things, and we live for aesthetics and dope visuals when it comes to almost everything. Shoutout to my Best friend Nana Kwesi!!! I Thank God every day for the bond and connection that we have. We are versions of each other.

During our city vacay, we have to dwell in meditation and prayer. We both are lovers of God. I would love to meditate inside of a sauna and pray to God. A sauna is so relaxing for me. Having a museum date is a must! We will explore contemporary art museums in the city and fine art museums. We both are into fashion, sneakers, and aesthetics through style and different pieces. My museum will consist of some ripped blue denim jeans, some off-white Nike dunks, some Chale socks for a pop of color and pattern, a vintage t-shirt with an oversized blazer, a cute oversized tote, and some dope Bohten eyeglasses, Nana Kwesi on the other hand, I know he will match the aesthetics. He’s a fashion visionary and a very well-dressed photographer. He’s a Creative practitioner and an art connoisseur who will capture moments and dope pictures through his lens. This is just an inside scoop of how a date with my best friend will go!!!
