We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiara and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiara, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
The reason I chose to pursue my music career was solely to fulfill my passion & inspire others while doing so. Music has always been a huge part of my life & expressing myself through my talents was a form of therapy along with joy.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I believe what helps me stick out from other artists, is my intentions & motives behind my art. Every song I write serves a different purpose & can be felt. They each have a different feeling, emotion, topic, etc. I am where I am professionally today because 3 yrs ago I decided to take that leap of faith & pursue my passion in singing & writing music. I met my producer first then over time of creating met my engineer & vocal producer eventually forming a production team as I like to call it “Dream Team”. They inspired me to work hard in what I do & taught me so much I’ll always cherish throughout my career. They’re the reason I am totally comfortable & content with my artistry.
This career is definitely not for the weak & easily discouraged! It’s not easy & takes a lot of hard work, ambition, passion, funds, etc. When faced with challenges such as dealing with chronic pain, music is my form of therapy & how I cope with it. I often envision myself at the highest goal as a music artist & remind myself that the obstacle is only apart of the process to success. What I truly want the world to know about me is that when life can get in the way of things, never let it stop you from achieving your goals.
My intent with my music is to heal people whether it’s helping them get over a breakup, boosting their confidence, promoting self worth & self love, while giving the listeners a hug vocally with certain records. I want to use my talents to become my supporters outlets from reality to just enjoy great music.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Naturally I’m a homebody & love movie/game nights, but occasionally I do step out & enjoy Houston. If we are going for a nice, chill day I’d likely take them to the galleria for some shopping & catching up on some brunch spots nearby. If we’re talking about showing up & showing out in Houston’s night life, I’d likely bring them to spots like Kamp, Ador, or Kiss houston for great vibes & food. If we’re going for fancy, luxury days, I’d take them to a nice spa during the day, & out to eat at Mastro’s for dinner.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Firstly, I’d like to thank God for blessing me with this talent & allowing me to thrive in fulfilling my purpose while inspiring people along the way!! Secondly, I’d love to thank my amazing Mother, my supportive Family members, my amazing Dream Team(production team), & my Supporters! Each & everyone of them have encouraged & inspired me to the best version of myself & continue creating amazing music. I’m beyond grateful for everyone apart of my journey, whether they’re apart of the process or supporting me along the way! I wouldn’t ever forget about my roots & the come up!! So huge shoutout to all of them<3
