We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Burgdorf and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
I think one of the most important things I’ve done was putting myself first and making the decision to go back to school in pursuit of a career change. I want my boys to know that anything really is possible with perseverance and determination. Making the decision to change careers and enroll in school was both scary and exciting, but I did it. I managed to graduate from college and become a licensed esthetician in the middle of a pandemic. My kids know they’re in charge of their own happiness and success!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I specialize in lashes, facials and brow laminations. I chose this line of work because I want to make people feel and look their best. I have a deep desire to connect with my clients and make sure they feel seen and heard. The studio is and will always be a safe space for all to relax and leave feeling confident and beautiful.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There’s so much to see and do in and around Houston! Who doesn’t love food and coffee? Some local coffee shops I love are Antidote Coffee, Campesino Coffee House, and Luce Ave Coffee Roasters. For some good eats, I’m taking you to Korny Vibes and Mo’ Better Brews for some vegan heaven. On a beautiful sunny day, I’d suggest The Houston Arboretum or a hike along the natural reserves at Brazos Bend State Park. If we’re feeling spontaneous, we’ll make a trip to 713 Tattoo Parlour in Montrose for a cute new piercing or tattoo! 😉

Without my husband, Matt, I wouldn’t be where I am today. His support and love are what keep me going everyday.
