Meet Tiffany Lewis | Professional Event Planner & Wedding Planner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
Yes I am a proud mother! The most important thing I have done as a Mother is to show my daughter that our disabilities do NOT define us. I help her develop social and emotional skills by assisting her to get through everyday challenges. I also provide her with excellent support to boost her self-confidence. She knows she is beautiful, smart, important, caring and so much more because I tell her and show her every single day. I created my business because of my daughter so she is able to witness firsthand all the blood, sweat, tears and dedication that it takes to be successful. I pray that she will carry that with her throughout her life and always work hard to become whatever she is destined to become. She understands the importance of hustle, loyalty and respect and for that I’m forever grateful!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Princess Event Planning is a full-service upscale event planning company. We specialize in weddings, anniversaries, receptions, corporate events, quinceaneras, baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties of all ages and more! If you can celebrate it, we can create it! The Enchanted Ballroom is our beautiful Venue previously located in Baytown, Texas where we offer All-inclusive Packages for all occasions.

I am a wedding planner and event coordinator. I believe what sets me apart from others is my careful attention to detail and that we are a complete one-stop shop. My clients literally show up, party and leave! I have implemented a team of phenomenal vendors so along with the beautiful detailed decorations, we also offer catering, photography, live entertainment, dj services, bartending, custom designed cakes and any other element that is required or desired to have a successful event!

I’m most proud of our customer service, We are completely hands-on beginning from the date the client books until the very end of their event. After the venue is decorated and set up, all vendors are in place, and the party begins, I personally stay and host every event. I make sure that everything comes together and works out perfectly for the client’s total enjoyment. This is one of the reasons that most of our clients are reoccurring clients. In this profession that should always be the goal. My motto is “it’s not how many clients you can get, it’s how many you can keep!”

I utilize my passion for bringing people together to celebrate and combine that with my warmth and creativity. I believe that being an event/wedding planner is about more than timelines and checklists. It’s about being a partner, a friend and confidant. It’s about listening and guiding. It’s about inspiring and creating. I partner with my clients to not only turn their dreams into a magical reality but also exceed their expectations. I keep my finger on the pulse of the latest trends while staying original. I Always focus on the personalized details that make each event a one-of-a-kind experience.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I don’t have much of a social life outside of my career and my daughter but I absolutely love to eat!!!! Some of my personal favorite establishments in the Houston area are Taste Kitchen+Bar, The Turkey Leg Hut, The Breakfast Klub, The Oceanaire Seafood Room and MAX’s Wine Dive!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout is dedicated to my amazing daughter! 12 years ago I gave birth to my forever hero, Skylar Grace. She is my first and only child. She was born with developmental delays, autism, a damaged esophagus and sickle cell. Due to Skylar’s many medical issues; including the inability to swallow the doctors determined that Skylar would not be able to speak nor would she be able to walk without leg braces. Little did those doctors know; God had blessed me with a Warrior Princess. Through countless specialists appointments with various doctors, clinical feeding sessions, occupational, speech, physical and applied behavioral therapy, Skylar Grace blossomed into a walking and talking miracle.  

Skylar doesn’t let any of the deficiencies that she was born with stop her from living her best life. She never needed leg braces and can walk and run better than I can. YES she can absolutely talk, trust me, you would beg her to stop! She is the most caring, loving, selfless child that I have been blessed to call my own. She loves animals, collecting reptiles, feeding the homeless and participating in Pageants. She is fearless, an avid WWE wrestling fan and loves new adventures. She has swam with dolphins, waded with and fed alligators, and interacted with lemurs, snakes, iguanas and so much more. 

Being a single mother with a special needs child can be very challenging at times. Skylar’s unconditional love, support and her “never give up” attitude keeps me going. Even when I’m exhausted and don’t think I can go any further, Skylar and that beautiful smile steps in and gives me the will to keep pressing forward. She has taught me to be fearless and to keep a positive outlook no matter what challenges we both face. Skylar developed catamenial epilepsy four years ago but it never dampens her joy. She faces it head on.

Skylar is the inspiration behind Princess Event Planning and The Enchanted Ballroom. She is the reason, motivation and Princess behind our brand. Skylar’s 1st and 2nd birthday parties were the influences that started our businesses and we have been growing ever since. She often reminds me that tomorrow is not promised to anyone and that we must live every day like it’s our last,  believe me we now do just that. Skylar has taught me to go for it all, live our dreams, make memories and do what makes us happy. We embrace Autism and Epilepsy with style and Grace and our mission is to spread acceptance, awareness and support.
