We had the good fortune of connecting with Tisha Rowe MD MBA and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tisha, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
The healthcare system is very broken and a lot of companies put profits before patients. The sicker patients are the more money medical offices make from insurance companies so very few focus on prevention and instead strategize on how to find the sickest patients,

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My clinic Honeycomb Clinic is a co-working space for doctors. Like “WeWork” we are creating a space doctors can rent out as needed so they can build their own practice and collaborate with other physicians. When doctors have independence and feel empowered they can take better care of their patients. Many doctors want to be their own boss but can not afford their own office so we are making private practice attainable for all doctors. When doctors are in private practice they can spend more time with patients and also practice in a way that protects their mental health. Our slogan is Happy Doctors + healthy patients because too many large medical practices are full of unhappy doctors and unhealthy patients.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have a lot of help along the way but the person I would want to recognize is my 10 year old chase. Having an ambitious mom often means being picked up last, tagging along for meetings and a lot of travel. He is the most understanding, loving and supportive child anyone could hope for. I affectionately call him my COO in training because he is so invested he always asks about my business and treats it like his own. I hope to one day pass the reins to him.
