We had the good fortune of connecting with Traci Richard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Traci, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
The end goal I want to achieve is to create generational wealth. By the end of my career I want to be in a position of financial freedom and I would love to have my own established warehouse or headquarters.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I currently sell luxury mink Lashes and I make handmade lipgloss. I believe what sets me apart from others is I not only have a passion for what I do, I love to let my clients know that they are beautiful inside and out . I try to make every client feel special and to make it more than just a transaction. I am most excited about my lash boutique opening this spring 2021. I have stayed consistent and motivated during this long journey. I got where I am today by staying consistent and praying through the process. It definitely wasn’t easy but I overcame the hard challenges by my faith,hard work, and having positive people in my life. I’ve learned the best thing I’ve ever done was to move in silence.I want the world to know that my brand Dreamoflashes will be international soon and I have so much more in store beyond lashes and lipgloss. I will be launching my website this spring. I plan to have my brand in major cities and everyone will soon know about Dreamoflashes.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely say Ruth Chris is definitely a go to favorite place to eat. I would suggest shopping at the Galleria there are so many options to shop for different looks. One of my favorite places to drink is at Bourbon street daiquiris. If you want a girls night out I would suggest downtown for any nightlife entertainment.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people I can name right now that keeps me encouraged and supports me. One of the special people that I want to recognize is my late great grandmother Eloise Harris. She was a business owner and she showed me you can do anything you put your mind to. She was an example of what not giving up and going for your dreams look like.
