Meet TrapStar Ace | Musical Artist & Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with TrapStar Ace and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi TrapStar, what’s your definition for success?
Being yourself and being able to be comfortable in situations that aren’t.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart is the energy. I’m not just an artist. I’m a whole experience. Every song I drop, every move I make, it’s built on authenticity and aura. My music lives between pain and power, between love and toxicity, between the trenches and the penthouse. I mix smooth, bossed-up energy with street reality and that’s why people feel it on both sides.
I’m most proud of how far I came on my own. No label, no handouts… I sold over 50,000 physical records straight from the mud. That’s legacy work. I built this off hustle, vision, and staying untouchable when everything around me tried to break me down.
It definitely wasn’t easy. I came from Alexandria, Louisiana, where you either grind or get left behind. I faced losses, fake love, people doubting me… but I turned all that pressure into fuel. I kept betting on myself when nobody else would. Every setback became a setup for a bigger comeback.
The biggest lesson I learned? Protect your energy and your vision. Stay consistent even when the world’s quiet. You don’t have to prove nothing, just show them through your results.
What I want the world to know is that TrapStar Ace isn’t just a name… it’s a movement. It’s about transforming pain into power, struggle into status, and dreams into digital empires. I represent every hustler who refuses to fold, every boss in the making, and every soul that knows they were born to be untouchable.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
my best friend pulled up for a week, I’m showing ‘em how we move down South — that boss hustler luxury mixed with real trap energy.
Day 1: We’d start in my city — Alexandria, Louisiana… just to touch the roots. Hit a few local food spots for that soul flavor: real catfish plates, wings, and Louisiana-style daiquiris. After that, we’d slide through the city, connect with a few folks, and end the night on some chill talk, good smoke, and classic R&B vibes.
Day 2-3: We’d head out to Houston… it’s all motion there. We’d eat at Turkey Leg Hut, slide through Lost & Found for the day vibes, then hit Kamp Houston or The Address once the lights go low. Couple bottles, good company, everybody fly… that’s the energy I live for.
Day 4: Studio day. I’d book a private session, bring my engineer, and let my bro catch the behind-the-scenes of how I build a record from scratch. We’d talk life, business, and manifestation…. just boss talk all day. After that, maybe a rooftop lounge or luxury Airbnb party to keep the vibe exclusive.
Day 5-6: We’d take a quick trip to Dallas. I’d tap in with some connects, maybe hit a car meet or nightlife spot…. somewhere the money and motion meet. During the day, we’d slide through the designer stores, maybe do a photo shoot or content day… that “untouchable” lifestyle look.
Day 7: We’d end it smooth… brunch, hookah, then hit a chill lake or a penthouse balcony to reflect and plan the next play. I like closing trips with vision talks, it’s never just fun, it’s strategy too.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Anyone and everyone who supports me are the only ones that are due for credit, Without them…. I’m nobody.
