We had the good fortune of connecting with Ty Grant and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ty, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk, risk are nothing but challenges and how you deal with challenges defines you as a person. I believe “risk” are things that develop a person. Taking a risk makes you jump at the uncomfortable, it grows you. Without taking a risk there is no learning and experiencing. You’ll just be stuck in your old ways. Me taking risk have open up a lot of doors for me and meet a lot of people, all in a short time frame. I personally wouldn’t know what I know now and be where I’m at without risk. I’m not 100% where I want to be YET, but the route I’m going I know it’s coming. Things are consistently unraveling for me. I had to keep reminding myself if you not scared it just easy, so you might as well do scared and build you courage.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is defined from the person who sees it. I like to create from a space that’s comes within but everyone esle would perceive it differently. What make my art different, from the skits, to the music is truth. It lies the things I faced, battled, and experienced, while turning them into laughter or a beautiful musical. I want the world to see what I have to offer and just connect and understand. No matter how much a person laugh or create we all share some similar. Be kind, enjoy bits or life.

They have co created an organization on their campus. It taught many individuals how to be a model while teaching them how to have confidence in their one skin and looks. It was uplifting.
