Hi Valentina, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am from Mexico City And I am proud of my country

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My artistic and gallery manager career is marked by creativity, dedication, and a deep appreciation for the arts.
Additionally, I have taken on the role of gallery management for two prominent art spaces. The Oaxaca Serrano Gallery showcases the rich and diverse world of Oaxacan art, while the Serrano Gallery focuses on contemporary Latin American art.
One of my proudest achievements has been representing the collective exhibition of Sawery Yards artists, bringing their incredible talent to a broader audience. It’s been an exciting journey, and I look forward to continued growth and success in the art world.

The Glassell School of Art has been invaluable to my artistic journey. The mentors and teachers there have not only instructed me but have also nurtured my passion for art.
Additionally, Silver Street Studios provided me with a significant opportunity to showcase my art and develop my career as a gallerist. However, the enrichment I’ve received extends beyond formal education and studio spaces. The interactions with fellow artists have been incredibly inspiring and have played a pivotal role in my artistic growth.
Furthermore, my husband has been a tremendous influence on my success. His unwavering support and encouragement have been the cornerstone of my journey as an artist and gallerist.
In summary, the combination of education, opportunities, fellow artists, and the support of my husband has been instrumental in shaping my career and artistic endeavors.
