Meet Walynn Collins

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Walynn Collins again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Walynn, thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
My name is Walynn Collins, and I’m a proud native of Lake Charles, Louisiana. I am a serial entrepreneur with a strong passion for business and financial empowerment. Currently, I own a women’s clothing store, a credit restoration firm, and a tax office.
My entrepreneurial journey began in 2014 when I started selling hair.
However I stopped selling hair & got into logistics around 2018/2019 but that didn’t work out as I expected so I ended up back in the beauty industry lol which later led to opening a beauty salon in Houston, Texas.
However, in 2023, I decided to close the salon after realizing that my true passion had shifted and I really couldn’t shake it! The beauty industry wasn’t my main priority, I wanted that business to be less hands on and more passive. While I loved the beauty industry, I found greater fulfillment in helping others achieve financial stability and starting their own business!
We’re in a time where many people want to start businesses but struggle with funding or simply don’t know how to access it. That’s where I step in. My mission is to help entrepreneurs secure funding, build financial literacy, and create generational wealth. It all starts with understanding, managing, and maintaining credit.
The most rewarding part of my journey is seeing people in my community enjoy the fruits of their labor by leveraging and investing in themselves through credit. I’ve reached this point by never giving up—using every challenge as a lesson and every setback as an opportunity for growth. My story is one of perseverance, and I’m committed to empowering others to build lasting financial success.

Alright, so our main goal today is to give our audience an update on what you have been up to since our last conversation. We’d love to hear how things are going and what you are most looking forward to or excited about these days.
Since we last connected, I’ve sold my truck and opened up another location in Louisiana and am excited about launching another one this spring! I’m also looking forward to growing the team and possibly expanding even further. Right now, everything is up in the air, lol—but I’m constantly learning and exploring new opportunities to add to my entrepreneurial portfolio. Who knows what 2025 has in store? One thing’s for sure—I’ll always be a student, always learning!
