We had the good fortune of connecting with William Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi William, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I feel that resiliency is one of the best tools to help you succeed. As far as habits I feel that always looking at things in a positive way and finishing what you start are healthy habits when it comes to being successful in business.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a military background. While most people have a traditional route, my route was anything but traditional. I recognized a need in my community and I created a business to try and help. I am where I am at now because of my dedication and integrity. While I do see that tit is hard to do the right thing, I feel that it is necessary. I have overcome many challenges with my faith and belief in humanity. I have learned that life doesn’t stop with it’s challenges but you can learn to respond in a healthy way. I would like the world to know that there are people and business out there that will help you. We are building a brand that will be intended for you. My brand Uncharted Territory is about reaching new territory.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are many unique things to do in Houston. It depend son what you are into. There’s always sports, art, parks, and great food. The unique thing about Houston is its diversity. You could always visit our friends in Galveston and hit the beach as well.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would dedicate my shoutout to God and my closest supporters. One of the most important things when having a business is establishing a functional network. In today’s time so many people are for self gain, so you have to find your circle that doesn’t mind working as a team.
