We had the good fortune of connecting with Yemi Owoeye and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Yemi, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Astine Boutik helps the community by empowering women through style and confidence, creating connections around shared values like professionalism and elegance and supporting the local economy. We play a meaningful role in the community through creating jobs, education, and community-focused initiatives
We also contribute to women’s career readiness by making polished, long-lasting pieces more accessible, supporting interviews, promotions, and business visibility.
We affirm women who don’t see themselves represented in fast fashion, giving them a “home base” for their style because of our focus on timeless, high-quality, modest or elegant workwear.
We educate our followers using blogs, styling tips, and capsule-wardrobe guidance, helping women buy more intentionally instead of impulsively which in turn helps reduce waste, and save customers money over time by focusing on versatility and durability.
We partnered with Dress for Success Houston to provide training for women who are looking to start their own business giving them tips and resources on how to start.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Astine Boutik stands as a reflection of timeless sophistication and the modern woman’s pursuit of confidence through style. Established with a vision to redefine everyday elegance, our brand curates collections that balance contemporary design with classic refinement. Each piece is thoughtfully selected to empower women to express their individuality while maintaining a sense of effortless poise.
What distinguishes Astine Boutik is its commitment to intentional styling—merging quality craftsmanship with designs that transition seamlessly from professional settings to personal moments. Beyond fashion, the brand takes pride in fostering a sense of connection and community, where customers find not only clothing but also inspiration and confidence.
The journey to this point has been shaped by perseverance and purpose. Building a brand from the ground up required navigating challenges common to emerging businesses, from establishing trust in a competitive market to managing operations with integrity and vision. Through adaptability, strategic growth, and an unwavering dedication to excellence, Astine Boutik is evolving into a trusted destination for women who value grace and authenticity.
Each milestone has reinforced essential lessons: that consistency builds credibility, that listening to customers leads to evolution, and that success comes from staying true to one’s values.
At its core, Astine Boutik exists to celebrate women who embody strength, elegance, and purpose. The brand’s story is one of persistence, creativity, and the belief that true style begins with confidence.
