Risk has played a huge factor not only in my career but also in my life itself. I lost both of my parents to cancer between the age of 20-21, I had a lot of growing up to do in such a short time frame every choice I made was a risk. What job I had , would I be able to cover bills, and just everything that came with that. That truly has molded me into the person I am today, last year I took a risk and put all of my savings into a salon and spa suite with my business partner not knowing if we were gonna make it and just rolled the dice. Risk taking has always been such a daunting action that I was scared to do. Due to my anxious brain, I will always think of the worst case endings or the “what ifs” when considering a major life choice. With that being said, I have made some major risk taking actions with my business and learned so so much from it! Since I do tend to overthink, I still feel like it’s best to really plan out the risk taking. Instead of thinking about the “what ifs”, think about the “what is”. Lay out all the facts of the situation and see if the payoff will be worth taking the risk. When I decided to go on my own with tattooing and start my own business, I made the best decision of my life with that risk taking.
