What do I think about risk taking? Honestly, I am one of those people who used to HATE taking risks. I used to love the comfortability of not taking risks and staying with what I know and having a consistent lifestyle. Well, that all changed almost a year ago. On January 1st, 2022, I took a risk of quitting my full time job as a behavioral therapist to pursue my then part time gig as a photographer and turn it into full time. It was absolutely the best risk I have ever taken and now I take all the risks. I am a moderate risk taker. I would normally stay within the mold or color in the lines. I know that coloring inside the lines is necessary but so is coloring outside the lines. For 20 years I played it safe inside a school building because it offered income security and was a routine that I grew to enjoy. When I shared that I was resigning most of my educator friends thought I was crazy though they didn’t say it out loud their comments lead me to these conclusions. Read more>>
