Elizabeth White | Mental Health Therapist

I have seen patterns of fear around receiving therapy, the idea that something has to be very wrong if you are going to counseling or have a therapist. This idea could not be farther from the truth, therapy can help with so many things from stress management or parent coaching to working through grief and pain. If I can work toward reducing the stigma around receiving therapy more people will get help, learn better coping and distress tolerance skills and improve relationships. Going to therapy IS empowering! Read more>>

Nicole Lester | Creative, Self-healing Quilter

The most important factor behind my success in running my business is the passion and heart that I put into every piece that I create. When clients choose me to create their customized, heirloom T-shirt/memory quilt, I feel honored and proud. For most, their shirts, or clothing from loved ones’ whom have passed, have great meaning behind them. Knowing this, I take great pride in creating meaningful pieces that can be enjoyed by my clients for years and generations to come. I pride myself on not being a cookie-cutter quilter. Read more>>

Katie Harvell | Aromatherapy Jewelry

I feel it is the personal aspect of 504 Freckles Avenue that contributes to my success. I knew from day one that I wanted to acknowlede the many beautiful souls who play significant roles in my life. I love an “About Me” or “Our Story” page on a website. It is one of the first things I read when visiting a new site. It allows me to feel like I know the creator when I can read about what sparked the idea for their company or read the history of the many generations that have kept it thriving. Read more>>

Alycia is a copywriter and yoga instructor, and she’s incredibly skilled at conveying our ideas elegantly. Read more>>

Consistency. We live in an age where we have a portal to the entire world in our pockets. As an artist, we all have social media platforms that give us opportunities to showcase our work and talent on a daily basis. These days, all it takes is one viral post to change our lives forever. Daniel Gutierrez | Business Funding Expert

One thing in particular that I saw as vital to my current success was surrounding myself with others who have already taken the initial step of breaking away from the ordinary 9-5 and seeking to become financially free via entrepreneurship. I stopped hanging out with peers my age who would go out every weekend and only cared to party and spend money on the unnecessary. Read more>>
