My paternal grandmother used to tell me how I would sit in the living room with my feet crossed reading the newspaper. I was about 4 or 5 and would make up my own stories while looking at the comics (because I couldn’t truly read yet). From a young age I’ve always been creative and loved making things better. As I got older, I fell in love with books and all things beauty. I learned how to do my own hair by 11 and was writing music by age 14.
