Meet Ashley Albert | Boutique owner/Stylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Albert and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I always love fashion from a little girl, but I was always afraid to step out. I will always screenshot pictures of different pieces and put different outfits together and send them to my friends asking for opinions. My friends always asked me for opinions on their outfits or ideas. So one day I told myself I need to stop sleeping on my self and finally make my dream happen. So start by doing a lot of research on how to start my online boutique. I sample from different vendors until I found the vendor that was a best fit for me. I really took my time to create the vision I wanted. By the grace of god I was able to launch my boutique November 2, 2022

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I Launch SHANEL’S STYLING BOUTIQUE November 2, 2022. I always had a motto keep it cute and simple and to never over think it just put it on sis!!! With my boutique I offer style on a budget. Who doesn’t love looking cute for a reason price. I’m so excited about living my childhood dream owning a boutique and also helping people pick out clothes that make them feel so pretty in. I literally step out on faith and asked god to guide me in my business. It was times I wanted to quit when I lost my dad and close friend Ashley in the same year. That was the hardest year of my life but I knew they would had wanted me to keep going so I push through it and that’s my most proudest moment. One thing I learned on this journey to never give up no matter what just keep going. Things might not go as plan but that’s ok just keep going. I want the world to remember my name Ashley Shanel, and that SHANEL’S STYLING BOUTIQUE will be one of the biggest Boutique coming out of Houston Texas and I will be one of the hottest fashion stylists

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love my city Houston,Texas I really work a lot but when I do step out, I like to start with brunch one of my favorite spots to go to is drunken corner. The drinks are fire so that’s one place I think everybody should visit. After brunch then we’re heading to third ward where the fun begins. I love going to The Locker Room and The Spot. Them are my favorite bar spots in third ward. To be honest it’s so much stuff you can do in Houston we’re just gonna have a good time

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost I will like to shoutout my mother and father Ella and James Albert and my two sisters Tiffany and Nicole for always being there when I need them and for always supporting me no matter what

I also will like to shoutout my cousin Ashley Carter for always pushing me to do better with my business. She literally stays on me and making sure I’m handling my business.

I also will like to shoutout my three Bestfriends Tiffany, Jazz, and Phil for always supporting me. No matter what time of the night I text them with ideas they gonna always respond no matter what and I love them so much.

And I want to thank god for my kids jaiden and kash they are my biggest cheerleaders and I want them to know that mommy is doing this for them.
