Hi Deoir, what do you attribute your success to?
Experience and Product Knowledge is a very important factor in my success. My real estate business Top Local Homes is just a few month old however, I have worked for an employer or as an independent contractor in the Real Estate industry since 1999. I was 19 years old when I sold my first house in a time not every home had internet. I have seen this Market shift multiple times in 23 years. My brand Top Local Homes is succeeding because of the lessons I learned and been through. In the late 90’s I use to put out signs all over neighborhoods and streets. I would also advertise in free local classified newspapers. I wanted to generator as many leads and phone calls as I could. I wanted to help as many people as I could. In 2023, Running this brand, I still have that same mind set. I want Help as many people as I can. I maintain a great work/life balance and volunteer for my kids swim team during local swim meets.

What should our readers know about your business?
Being a real estate agent, you have to set yourself apart from all the other realtors. My company offers not only renting, buying or selling real estate service but a concierge service as well. After finding your home, Someone from our Concierge service will call you about setting up, electricity, internet, cable, home security and more. The Concierge service also finds out other utility information you need for a home like water, gas and trash service even the steps to register kids for school if needed. The Concierge services is Top Local Utilities and they go above and beyond for my clients and theirs. When Searching for a home, moving can be exciting but for some people its overwhelming and stressful. I want everyone to know Top Local Homes is here to help and ease the stress of searching for a home and moving.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Houston has so much to offer. One place I would take them is the Kemah Board Walk. You can eat, hangout, enjoy amusement park rides right next to Clear Lake/ Galveston Bay. Houston is one of the better cities for dining out. There are so many different cultures in Houston. That diversity gives us a wide variety of food. You would definitely think about living in Houston and of course I would be their realtor LOL. If they decided to stay permanently I would recommend buying furniture from Gallery Furniture. If you are from Houston everyone knows Mattress Mack. Shopping there is an experience in itself.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First off I want to thank God. He will never put me in anything I can’t Handle. My wife/business partner, my kids, my family. I want to thank all the really cool teachers and coaches who help mold me growing up. I want to thank Napoleon Hill for writing “Think and Grow Rich”. It is my favorite book and I’ve read it at least a dozen time. “rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki is a great book. I watched and studied modern entrepreneurs like Damon Dash and Brother Ben X who preach and teach how to be your own boss. I’ve worked with really cool real estate agents and brokers in Houston and Dallas over 20 plus years, Everyone has been wonderful.
