Hi Jordan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I entered the field of real estate through an unexpected opportunity. Three years ago, I embarked on a new phase of my life and secured a position as a Leasing and Marketing Team Lead at a Property Management Company. Despite having no prior experience in the industry, I eagerly accepted the challenge and devoted myself fully to the job. My hard work and dedication paid off, as I was soon recognized as one of the top salespeople in the company, gaining experience in three distinct markets and mentoring others on the intricacies of the leasing process. Through this experience, I discovered a passion for educating individuals about important life decisions, specifically the leasing process. Many of the prospects and residents I encountered were unaware of the process and I wanted to be the one to guide them. This motivated me to establish my own real estate business, where I could continue to support people in their significant life decisions with transparency and trust as the cornerstone of my services.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart from many real estate agents is my expertise in marketing. Leveraging my extensive marketing background, I consistently go the extra mile to promote my clients’ listings and ensure that they receive maximum exposure. I am not content with simply listing properties on MLS and waiting for interested buyers to come along; I am proactive in investing advertising and marketing resources to ensure that each property is marketed effectively.

My journey to success as a realtor has been influenced by my past experiences, particularly a period of personal and emotional challenges. However, through this adversity, I learned that every experience serves a purpose and that every person has the power to shape their own narrative. These lessons have stayed with me as I have built my real estate business, and I believe that having the courage to stand up for oneself and for others is critical.

In my work as a realtor, I place a strong emphasis on putting my clients’ needs first. I understand that buying a home is more than just a transaction; it is a significant life event that will impact a family’s future. As such, I remain steadfast in my commitment to serving my clients and ensuring that their needs are always at the forefront of my efforts.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As a food lover, Houston offers a diverse array of culinary options, however my personal favorite is to grab a cup of elote from a local stand. Spending time with my fiancé and his family at a Houston Astros game is always a thrilling experience. I have a passion for learning, and the Houston Museum of Natural Science never fails to impress, particularly with its captivating butterfly exhibit. The Houston Rodeo is another must-visit event, where I enjoy the opportunity to experience the carnival rides, savor a delicious turkey leg, and admire the skilled cowboys in action. The atmosphere of the Rodeo transports me back to my childhood memories in Kansas, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The success of my journey is largely attributed to the unwavering support of my friends and family. I faced numerous difficulties in the aftermath of some personal challenges, but their encouragement and guidance enabled me to persevere through the hardships.

Furthermore, I am grateful to my fiancé and their family for their invaluable support. The decision to leave my corporate job and embark on the entrepreneurial path was a challenging one, but their love and support made all the difference. I am truly blessed to be joining such a compassionate and supportive family through marriage.
