I would have to say that the most important factor to the success of the business is great customer service. No matter what type of day I’m having, I’m always polite to our patrons: asking them how they’re doing, engaging in small talk, making them laugh… whatever it is, I try to be as polite as I can and really cater to them, make them feel good. The food is great, but how you make them feel really impacts if that person will come back. Postpartum can be such a joyful and challenging space for parents. So many shifting dynamics are at play under one roof that few really prepare parents for. With a new baby, our hormones and bodies change, our relationships shift, our identity expands, we have physical pain & restrictions that can be hard to navigate, so much sleep deprivation, and goodness, so many worries about the little tiny person we are now in charge of.
