We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Emanuel and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, what do you attribute your success to?
The driving force behind the success of my business undoubtedly lies in my commitment to providing excellent customer service and understanding each client. By prioritizing their unique needs and preferences, I have been able to cultivate a genuine connection that fosters trust, loyalty and long lasting relationships which is the cornerstone to my growth in the wedding industry.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
There are some amazing creatives in the Houston wedding industry, but one of the things that I believe sets me apart is my ability to capture genuine emotions that defines each moment. I pride myself on creating narratives of love through my lens, bringing together love, joy and connection that characterizes every wedding, couple and family. By truly taking on the essence of each couples’s journey, I ensure that each image displays the authenticity and magic of their special day. The goal is to create timeless memories that couples and their loved ones will cherish for generations to come.
My proudest moment is by far getting published in one of Houston’s top wedding publications. I set a goal to be published a year ago – taking the time to learn and study what publications look for in wedding galleries and applied that to my approach in how I approach and capture each wedding day.
I began my photography career as a classroom teacher. At the time, I owned a camera that I used to capture images of my family, but I decided to gift them all cap and gown photos to share with their family and loved ones. I enjoyed it so much that I began looking shooting more professionally (specifically weddings), so I took a chance and bought a photography course that was taught by a very successful couple in the wedding industry and reached out to local photographers to shadow as a mentee while learning the business. It certainly was not easy, but I enjoyed it and wanted to continue putting in the time to build my knowledge and brand.
The overall lesson I have learned is to get out of my own head. By embracing the present moment, I’ve discovered clarity, creativity and an authentic connection to my wedding community.
At the heart of my brand lies a profound celebration of love and family and a deep passion for creativity. Every component of my brand is a reflection of the love, unity and shared experiences that defines the relationships within my own family. It is through these connections that my creativity finds its greatest inspiration of warmth and authenticity.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Houston is one of the best places to travel. The most exciting part is the food scene, so I would most definitely start with our favorite places to eat.
Itinerary:

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shoutout my sweet family, but most importantly my amazing husband. I am so grateful for the unwavering support and encouragement that he has given me. His belief and dedication in my art has been the cornerstone to my success. From getting “behind the scenes” during shoots to providing invaluable insights and emotional support when times get rough, he has been a pillar of strength. His faith in my passion has helped me reach new heights in my photography journey. I am truly fortunate to have him by my side, and I credit much of my achievements to his love and unwavering backing.
