Meet Jewelz Melody | Musician|Educator|Activist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jewelz Melody and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jewelz, what are you inspired by?
Growing up with deaf parents and a sister with autism has given me a profound appreciation for diversity and shaped my journey as a Deaf Educator. As a children’s book writer, I draw inspiration from personal experiences, weaving tales that celebrate uniqueness. Being a PCOS warrior fuels my resilience, while embracing the role of a plus-size model allows me to redefine beauty standards. Through it all, my identity as a musician empowers me to find my voice and inspire others to embrace their own unique narratives, creating a rich tapestry of experiences that define and uplift my life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What makes me most proud and excited about my professional journey is transcending the unique challenges woven into my background. Growing up with deaf parents and a sister with autism molded my empathy, crucial in my role as a Deaf Educator and activist. Battling PCOS and infertility taught me resilience, transforming my personal struggles into strength. As a musician/singer/songwriter, my voice became a powerful narrative. It hasn’t been easy, but overcoming these challenges has defined me. I want the world to know that I am a brand rooted in authenticity, resilience, and a commitment to inclusivity—a storyteller whose journey is a testament to turning adversity into empowerment.
