We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Weezner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sarah, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand is trusting God and not changing my praise based on the situation. Starting a business/brand will always have character building moments. Moments that you will go through alone and with a very small community that truly understand the 25/8 schedule, the vacations with laptops and the constant ambition to build. At every turn, every achievement, every loss, every uncomfortable moment, I put my trust in him and I give him the Glory. He is the one that blessed me with my gift and gave me the vision, it all belongs to him.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work has allowed me to experience some amazing moments! Covering NBA, NFL, USA Basketball events, working with high-end clothing brands, motivational speakers, community leaders, local and national business owners, celebrities and more.
What has set me apart is my range of skills from content creation and marketing strategies to business development initiatives and more. Early in my career I realized the importance of being able to wear multiple hats to be able to add value to any team and any environment. My vision has always been to use my gift to help others build their dreams and bring their visions to life.
Something I want the world to know about my story is that it’s not finished… and neither is theirs and to take advantage of the time given to us. “Procrastination is the arrogant thought that God will give you another chance to do tomorrow what he gave you the chance to do today.” – Make everyday count.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite places in the city are the graffiti park, Downtown and Downtown skyline at night and early morning, All the places I’ve taken photos of or created content and for sure all sporting events in Houston!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to thank my clients for supporting me and allowing me to be part of their impact in the community over the last 13 years. Shout out to some key clients/supporters, Byron Godfrey Owner of Misfit Strength, Tyrese Rice owner of Trusted Legacy, Devin Toliver Owner of Dominating Technique Basketball Training, Cap Clark Owner of Champions League Facility, Chill Vibes Owner of IYO, Rashid Tillis Owner of Right Time Solutions, and many more!
