We had the good fortune of connecting with RAJAS NIKUMBH and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi RAJAS, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Well, in all honesty, I have had the notion of starting my own business ever since I enrolled in college, if not earlier. I recall a time when I moved to another city by myself for my graduate studies. Although my family provided financial support for food and lodging while I was away, as a teenager from a typical middle-class Indian family, I always aspired to alter those circumstances and live the life of my own desires. It was during those times that I would generate ideas to realise my own aspirations and dreams, which were indeed dire. and initially instructed a handful of well-known individuals via Zoom, which grew to more than 1800 pupils worldwide in paid and unpaid sessions pertaining to the content, marketing, video, design, and branding industries.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I must admit that my artistic and creative journey began with sketching ideas on paper. Even before I had a smartphone, I would occasionally dabble in graphic design on the go. I learned the fundamentals of design by doing, as I firmly believe that hands-on experience and observation teach you more than any book or lecture could ever tell you. When I finally got my hands on a laptop, I began to wonder, “What’s the best way to use this device?” and “How can I use it differently to stand out from the crowd?” Afterwards, I educated myself and my students by applying what I had learned. The more you teach others, the more your own mind and consciousness grow.
I am pleased with myself because I am constantly trying to improve in all areas of my life. This allows me to keep up with the times and grow as a person.

In this creative journey, I have turned my knowledge, skills, and learnings into a profession. I have always wondered how I could use my skills for the benefit of others and empower them. The journey has been inspiring, but it has also been filled with ups and downs. I believe that every journey has its share of ups and downs, and mine has had its fair share of them. However, through it all, I have discovered a superpower: spiritual techniques and meditations. With the grace of my master, Gurudev Sri Ravi Shankar, I have been able to overcome challenges with unwavering faith, confidence, and tranquilly.

As my master always says, life is about giving our all in what we’re doing and not worrying about the outcome. If we think about it, the only thing we can really control is what we do or how we act, not what might happen. So let’s learn to give our all and then relax without worrying about what might happen.

One thing I’ve learned is the importance of “consistency in action” when it comes to achieving long-term success and greater accomplishments. It takes dedication and persistent effort to accomplish anything, and I was able to cultivate this mindset through the spiritual practices and guided meditations taught by my master.
I was able to rid myself of negativity and start over each day because of this wonderful instrument.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For my hometown of Nashik, the best spot to soak up some heavenly energy is at one of the many ancient temples that dot the city. The richness of our Indian culture and tradition is such that just sitting in those temples brings a sense of inner calm, serenity, and optimism. Additionally, we will have stronger and more effective bonds and connections if we travel together, which will lead to healthy and pleasant relationships in life. Once I’ve taken my friends to see the riverbank temples, we can grab some misal pav, some munchies, and the authentic pineapple juice.
Also, we can take advantage of the many bargains on Shalimar Street, a popular shopping destination.
We can go to some hills since my city is encircled by mountains and beautiful greenery.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Aside from the fact that my spiritual practices and the knowledge of my master “gurudev sri sri ravi shankar ji” gave me a new lease on life and the vision to see the world as a chance to serve, I believe that the circumstances I went through in my journey served as a tremendous inspiration to overcome obstacles and move forward to achieve what I had dreamed of with dedication and joy. Also, I think my parents have always believed in me and my abilities, and they have never doubted my plans, ideas, etc. My dad in particular has always thought I am capable of doing anything I set my mind to.
Additionally, the Atomic Habits book was instrumental in my ability to maintain a consistent effort level.
