We had the good fortune of connecting with Tony Stark and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tony, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Reasonable risk taking is appropriate as long as risks are controlled and mitigated. This is something that I have learned from Government Contracting but it is something that I continue to learn to practice in everyday life as well as in the entrepreneurial world. I truly believe that mastering risk management is a skill that opens up so many more opportunities that would otherwise be missed. It was a risk for me to get into the RV rental business, however, it was a risk that made sure that I weighed out the pros and cons and the likelihood of being successful.

What should our readers know about your business?
With 5 years in operation, we are a small business located near Huntsville in Harvest, Alabama with a focus on delivering affordable, comfortable, clean, and reliable RVs to our customers. My RV Adventure started out as a single RV that was intended for personal use. It quickly grew into a full business which we plan to continue to expand. No business, is easy to start, maintain, and grow. It has been and continues to be a learning experience. Experiencing the great outdoors has changed significantly from tents and campfires to experiencing nature with the comfort of one of our little homes on wheels. We believe every family should have the opportunity to embark on an RV adventure at least once and why not with one of our family friendly RVs which offer the opportunity for unforgettable moments filled with laughter, quality time, and adventure. We are a family-owned small business and we hope that our family inspires others to detach from the chaos of our normal lives and go experience nature.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Huntsville is a fast-growing area and there are constantly new businesses being opened. I am originally from the area which means I have been in the area long before the growth took place. I can remember when I would hear people say, “there is nothing to do in Huntsville”. I’m happy to say I have not heard that in quite some time and there is definitely plenty to do here. One thing I love about Huntsville is how it has repurposed so many historical locations. On Friday, I would head to Stovehouse, a former stove factory turned into shopping, restaurants, and more as well as live music on an outdoor stage. On Saturday, I would go to Lowe Mill, a former mill and shoe factory. Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment is full of art studios, to include textiles, jewelry, pottery, and more. There are also food options, live music, and regular markets and more. On Sunday, I would go for a delicious brunch at one of the many options in downtown Huntsville, such as La Esquina Cocina or Commerce Kitchen. Huntsville is chock full of history, and it is great to live in a city that values history and small businesses and finds ways to combine the two.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my wife and partner in life, Yesenia Stark. She has supported me through several of my crazy ideas. She continues to support me in every aspect of My RV Adventure in the RV rental business. Her experience owning her own business, Teresita’s Tamales, has drastically helped me in the social media world, advertising, and much more.
