We had the good fortune of connecting with Laziz Baldwin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Laziz, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
Biggest lesson I have learned is just to never ride to highs too highs and the lows too low.

You’re going to have moments of greatness and moments of failure. It’s just a matter of how you approach them and what you will do next.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I like to focus on lifestyle type content on my instagram. This includes, travel, fashion and just my general interests.

Although with that I focus on things that can bring value to others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Minute Maid is by far my most favorite place in Houston.

It’s the home of the Astros! What else can I say. I’m a fan.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My two biggest supporters, my wife and mother.

They always push me to be better and to keep going.
