Savaeh Chapman | High School student, Full time baker
I decided to pursue my baking career because my mom. I told my mom I wanted to start selling cookies at school just talking. I came home the NEXT DAY everything on the countertop I needed to start. I had to come up with a name for my baker business and made a flyer sending it to everyone I know that went to my school. All 2022-2023 my sophomore year of high school I was selling my delicious treats at school. I made one cake for my baby sister it look a mess and very sloppy, but everyone at the party said it tasted amazing. I told my mom I didn’t want to make cakes anymore because it was “ too hard”. She put together a 1on1 with her friend that is a baker for me learn the basics of decorating cakes. The next school year 2023-2024 we got a new principal and he stop me from selling so I had to come up with an alternative to make money and continue my baking business. God directed me into me into something WAYYY BIGGER than I could imagine. Now I am a 17 year old custom cake/treat maker. Read more>>

It really chose me, to be honest. Growing up, my mother was always creatively inclined and she fostered my interest in artistic expression. I started off just wanting to draw and write stories. But I always would make up songs and sing them to myself. By the time I was about 12 I realized I loved writing songs a little more than I liked to draw, so I began to focus on rapping.
