We had the good fortune of connecting with Curt Corona and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Curt, why did you pursue a creative career?
Music plays so many roles in my life. It’s a Forever love story for me. When I’m not in the studio words show up in my head. Beat ideas ring off. And I love the freedom of the Arts to express yourself. Honestly I feel like It chose me.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I got here by not Quiting. I been through every emotion with pursuing a music career. From doubt to Frustration. But you never quit on something you love. I came up through the underground scene. Doing 3 shows a day. Performing in Clubs with 4 people in them. But pressure creates diamonds. I’ve learned you never know until you try. If you believe then Go for it. The worst is always wondering what if.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well it depends on who I’m entertaining! But I’d take them to PeeWees Snack shack. Or american wings. I don’t really club. But Nat can help in that section. But we can hit downtown rent some scooters or carts and bar hop. We would figure it out
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shout out to my Support system. My Wife ShaBreon. She really pushed me to Keep chasing what i love. My Dawg Nat House. For always believing in my craft. My Rapper homies LJQ and Que Gambino for telling me not to quit. When I was at my lowest.
