Meet Dante Villarreal | Mr.Fabulous Beauty Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dante Villarreal and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dante, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Shocking to say I don’t believe I had a thought process. I picked up the camera and started filming. Little did I know it would turn into my full time job!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Mr.Fabulous was a name I didn’t plan to have but it’s opened up so many doors in the beauty industry. Like I mentioned from my mentor Theresa Roemer she showed me how to navigate as an entrepreneur. I started my business as a makeup artist. Traveling to work on tv sets and celebrities. While still holding the camera up and creating content for my followers across my platforms. Although the journey looks fabulous it wasn’t always pretty. Allot of work goes into it. I want to show the world more important the Latino community that you can strive for greatness that’s who I represent.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Houston is non stop fun! I would set up several dinners as I’m the type to have a cocktail and delicious meal. My favorite spots are Lombardi, steak 48, toco madera.
The nightlife in montrose is where you’ll find me twirling around after dinner. It’s always a good time.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would really like to thank my family and parents for always encouraging me and my endeavors. Along with my mentor Theresa Roemer who has taught me how to be an entrepreneur.
