We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Pachar and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, how do you think about risk?
As a multi-passionate creative, taking risks has always been about having faith—faith in myself, in the process, and in the belief that things will fall into place when the time is right. During COVID in 2020, I lost my home while raising a family with three kids and a dog. It was an incredibly challenging moment that truly tested my resolve, but I knew I had to trust that I could keep moving forward. Being an artist was always my dream, but life didn’t always support that path. So, I pivoted and found ways to channel my creativity into becoming a UGC creator, allowing me to express my love for art and video.
Starting at Marie Flanigan Interiors in an entry-level position was just the beginning. I recognized the potential for growth and took small risks every day to shape my role into what it is now. Each piece of content I create and every bit of copy I write is a little risk, driven by the desire to connect with people authentically. I’ve learned to have faith that even if changes don’t happen right away, they will in time.
What’s really transformed my outlook is recognizing that the smartest C-suite players all took the time to learn things they didn’t know. That willingness to step outside their comfort zones is often what sets them apart. It’s a beautiful reminder that everything we know is something we’ve learned, and that’s the only difference between feeling like your dreams are out of reach and bringing them closer. Along the way, I stumbled upon friendships in the interior design world that have been instrumental in supporting my artistic career, allowing me to embrace my role as an exclusive oil painter for my friends and family. These connections have helped me carve out time for painting, making me feel complete in my creative capabilities and reminding me that the world is truly my oyster. I’m so proud of the risks I’ve taken—whether it’s stepping into content creation or nurturing these relationships—and I wouldn’t trade a single decision for another. I’ve found that I can love my professional job just as much as I love being an oil painter. Every step, no matter how small, has brought me closer to feeling whole in my creativity, and that’s something I’ll always cherish.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
If I look back at myself as a little girl in her bubblegum pink and fiery red room—it’s no wonder I had headaches often! I often wonder what she would say. It brings up so many emotions because I had a clear vision of who I was and what I wanted to be. I truly believed I would be a fine artist, living in Savannah, Georgia, with my dog, painting away in my studio. That dream felt so real.
When I had my daughter at 19, everything shifted. My world became centered around her, and while I cherished every moment, it took me down a different path. Years passed filled with photographs, storytelling, and pursuing what I thought I wanted. Then came the day I took a leap of faith and applied for a creative role in the interior design industry with Marie Flanigan Interiors. From that point, I didn’t look back at art until one day I stumbled upon a piece in an interior design project that moved me to tears. All I wanted was to see something I created be loved by someone else and last forever. To me, that is the epitome of creation.
That night, I went home, pulled out my high school AP art portfolio, and reclaimed my identity as an artist. I had always feared I’d never paint again, but I pushed through. My coworkers, friends, and family encouraged me to keep going, and I’m so grateful for their support. I spent countless hours painting late into the night, often getting up early to finish a commission, driven by my surroundings and emotions.
God has placed me in such a beautiful space every day. As I write this, I realize that if I hadn’t taken that risk, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today. I overcame challenges by dedicating myself to learning—absorbing everything I could. I carved out time and space in my life, often after the kids went to bed, making the necessary shifts to prioritize my art. It’s been a journey, but every moment has been worth it.
My brand represents multipassionate creation, connection, and the essence of simplicity. I create to evoke memories and feelings, inspiring others to recognize the beauty in life’s fleeting moments. We’re here on borrowed time, and I want to show people that there is so much beauty in that. Above all, I want everyone to know that anything is possible; you just have to want to learn.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely! I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my incredible family, especially my kids, as well as my supportive husband, friends, and coworkers. My children have a unique way of helping me find beauty in the smallest details, reminding me to appreciate the little things in life. Their innocence and curiosity inspire my creativity and drive me to pursue my dreams.
I also want to give a heartfelt shoutout to God for showing me His love in the most creative ways. It’s often in the unexpected moments that I feel His presence, guiding and encouraging me. Alongside my family’s unwavering support, my friends and coworkers have been essential in my journey, always motivating me to believe in myself and follow my passions. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their love, guidance, and encouragement. It’s a beautiful reminder that success is often a collective effort, and I’m deeply grateful for each of them in my story.
