We had the good fortune of connecting with Herb B and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Herb, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
By putting goals over dreams . Anything is attainable as long as you have a clear strategy and keeping track of what works vs what doesn’t.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart is the depth and balance in my music—I’m able to blend wit, humor, and deep meaning all in one. I’m always aiming to uplift consciousness while keeping it real. People come for the catchy melodies and wordplay, but they stay for the substance. I’m proud of how I can turn complex ideas into something relatable and entertaining without losing that top-shelf quality.
Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy, not by any stretch. I started from scratch, built and lost followings, and had to pivot countless times. But I didn’t fold—I adapted. I kept pushing through the setbacks, whether it was losing 50k followers or having to restructure my whole approach to music and business. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is the importance of consistency and keeping my mind sharp, focused on long-term goals. You can’t let distractions or people pull you off your path.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that I’m here to create something lasting—G.O.D. (Goals Over Dreams) isn’t just a slogan, it’s a movement. I’m all about inspiring people to chase their goals relentlessly, with discipline and strategy, but also maintaining authenticity and creativity along the way. My story is about breaking out of the typical artist mold and creating a lane that’s uniquely mine. no fiction!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my mentor , for providing me with great insights and referring me to books that benefit my vision tremendously. I would like to also thank everybody who is associated with G.O.D (goals over dreams) they all help bring our goals further into tangible reality
