We had the good fortune of connecting with Tina Sansone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tina, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important thing about what we do is making sure under-resourced children have new socks and shoes. It is so important for their self image and peer pressure. We also provide other necessities such as clothing, food and bedding.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We provide many faith based crafts and jewelry. I have personally drawn and colored over 1200 Christmas ornaments over the last three years. We have adjusted because of COVID and have put our quarantine snowman on coffee mugs to sell. We have NO paid employees, only volunteers

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We have a great zoo and so many museums to enjoy! Our broadway shows are so good, I have seen many of them. The Houston area has many great restaurants…….Mexican food is the best!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have an army of volunteers that help me make our crafts and jewelry that we sell so we can provide for the kiddos. Most of them come me from my church RPC and also my Del Webb Sweetgrass community
