We had the good fortune of connecting with Priscilla Gonzales and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Priscilla, what are you inspired by?
My children are my greatest inspiration. They’re the driving force behind everything I do, especially my decision to start this business. I wanted to create something that would not only give them a better life but also allow me to give back to those in need.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
After hearing my CEO was retiring I was faced with uncertainty of the next phase of my career. Will I continue on my journey in the medical field or adventure into new endeavors? After much consideration, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own medical billing company with the skills and knowledge that had been passed down to me over the past decade. I strive to be an example “HARD WORK DOES PAY OFF” and it doesn’t matter what stage you are in life or your career, it’s never too late.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For breakfast we would go to empire cafe, after breakfast the museum or the downtown aquarium. We could stop by Roxpour, for their famous Gumbo and take in the scenery of downtown Houston of our beautiful parks and end the day with dinner at Steak 48.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank GOD for this opportunity, A&M Medical Billing draws its name from my children’s initials., and I want to give a special shoutout to my amazing staff. Your hard work and dedication make all the difference. I also want to Thank my previous CEO Jean Wincher, whose guidance and mentorship through the complexities of medical billing made all of this possible
