Hi CASSANDRA, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Honestly, mom guilt. I was standing in a store, holding a $45 top in one hand and mentally calculating how many packs of diapers that could buy. Spoiler: a lot. But I still wanted to look cute without sacrificing the grocery budget.

So, I thought, why not create a boutique where moms—and everyone else—can shop guilt-free? Fashion that’s trendy, affordable, and actually true to size (because, let’s be real, squeezing into a “large” that feels like a medium is not the vibe). That’s why Casssie N Classy Boutique carries sizes Small-3XL, because fashion should fit YOU, not the other way around.

Now, I get to help others feel fabulous without the price tag making them sweat—because we save that for chasing toddlers.

What should our readers know about your business?
At Casssie N Classy Boutique, every day is a new adventure, and that’s what I love most about this journey! There isn’t a single experience—good, bad, or unexpected—that hasn’t taught me something valuable.

Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy, but I wouldn’t change a thing. When I first started, I was eagerly building my inventory, only to have items arrive 2-3 sizes too small—”cue the panic!” Instead of giving up, I did my research, connected with fellow boutique owners, and figured out how to get on the right track. That experience taught me one of my biggest lessons: take your time, find your identity as a brand, and stay true to what you represent.

I have built the foundation of Casssie N Classy Boutique as a strong, Hispanic, woman-owned business. Just like everyone else, I am a woman who loves shopping, enjoying life’s little moments, and helping others feel beautiful and confident. That’s why our slogan is:

Casssie N Classy Boutique isn’t just about selling clothes—it’s about empowering women of all sizes (Small-3XL) to look good, feel good, and embrace who they are. I’m so excited for what’s ahead, and I can’t wait to keep growing with this amazing community!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh, this is the perfect question because if my bestie was visiting, I’d make sure they had the best time ever—Houston style!

First stop? The Houston Rodeo! I’m a huge Rodeo go-er (like 3-5 times a season kind of huge). It’s always around my birthday, and you better believe I’m front and center for Luke Bryan! The carnival is a must, especially with my little ones—their pure joy makes everything I do worth it. And let’s not forget the food—every year, my must-haves are a cinnamon roll and a Tater Twister (because calories don’t count at the Rodeo, right?).

Next up, Texas Renaissance Festival! My fiancé and I make a whole day of it—photoshoots, mead tastings, burlesque shows, and of course, shopping. It’s our annual tradition, and we love every minute of it.

For a more casual, everyday vibe, we’re all about arcades with the boys and trying out new restaurants. Although, we always find our way back to our favorite local spots.

And of course, what’s a visit to Houston without an Astros game? Good game, good food, and that H-Town energy—it’s an experience in itself!

So yeah, if my bestie visits, they better be ready for big fun, big flavors, and the best Houston has to offer!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
No success story is complete without an amazing support system, and I’m beyond grateful for mine!

My fiancé – My ride-or-die, 24/7 partner-in-crime who keeps me on track and holds down the fort when I’m off at events or making moves. I couldn’t do this without your support (or your patience)!

My mom – The ultimate cheerleader, always there with love, wisdom, and support. (And probably telling me to take a break and eat something!)

My little brother – My go-to for advice, whether it’s business-related or just life in general. He keeps me grounded and thinking straight!

My grandmother – The MVP! She steps in any and EVERY time I need her, and I couldn’t be more thankful for her love, support, and willingness to always be there.

My bestie – Available day or night for my most random, out-of-nowhere questions. Seriously, what would I do without you?!

My little boys – The reason behind it ALL! They keep this momma on her toes, and I wouldn’t be pushing so hard to build a successful life if it weren’t for them. They inspire me every single day! 💙
