We had the good fortune of connecting with Blair Monique and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Blair Monique, what role has risk played in your life or career?
If you don’t try, you’ll have no idea what you’re capable of. I don’t even believe in failure. You try and win or try again.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m the prod CEO of The BMo Experience. My company is a branding and marketing firm that services celebrities and business owners all over the world. Being one of the only women in the space, I’m proud to be one of the leaders in design. I’m proud of the things I’ve accomplished here and can only hope for success in the future. It wasn’t easy at all. Many days I wanted to give up but I thought about the legacy I’d leave my children. Without sacrifice, there’s no win.
I’ve learned so many lessons over the years. If you don’t try, you don’t know what you’re capable of and so much more.

I’d want the world to know that I’m a fighter. I fight for what I believe in. My company is my baby and I often fight for that too. I want to known as an innovator.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family. My Walker 5. My husband Terrence (Terry), Darius, Nina and Noah. I love you guys so much. You are everything to me. I also want to dedicate this to My big brother, Dr. Percy Bady. A giant in the industry but my protector and friend most of all. I love you. Dr. Dana Carson, thank you for being a true father to me. You are more than a pastor. I love you.
