We had the good fortune of connecting with Hardkour King and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hardkour, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Writing songs and going to the studio to record my songs makes me because music is my therapy. Besides making music, I also like sports, like basketball and football and track because I am really competitive and I have a lot of energy, and when I was younger I thought I would grow up to be a famous basketball player. Another thing that makes me happy is when I call my brothers that live back in Seattle and we talk about how it is living out here in Texas or we talk about our careers and upcoming events. Or when we hop on the game for a couple of hours. Last thing that makes me happy is traveling. I travel a lot for performances and awards, but my favorite place to go to is Atlanta and Louisiana. Me and my family travel to Louisiana and Atlanta every year because that’s were some of my family members live and because it’s always lit over there.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is my performances are always high energy, keeping my audience heavily engaged. I do not glorify violence or use profanity in my lyrics to convey my messages in my music.

I am most proud and excited about being selected to go to Las Vegas, NV (March 2025) and being honored to receive a Nexus International Film Academy Award for youth.

It was not easy getting to where I am today professionally. I had to really listen to my manager and seriously apply the skills and techniques advised.

Some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way is:
1) Everything comes with a price.
2) If you work hard enough you can accomplish your goals in life.
3) Patience. I have learned how to be more patient.
4) As long as I put God first, everything else will follow.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that Hardkour King is the next Big thing. My time is now and I’m here to stay!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shout-out to my mom, and my manager, Sodondre` Karon. My mom is always pushing me to be at my best and always give 100% no matter what I’m doing. My mom inspired me to write my first song when I was 6, and if it wasn’t for her HardKour King wouldn’t even be a thing. Next my siblings: Cardi Ok, R’Queen, Sparkle Rayne & Rich Girl Bless. My older brother Bacardi bullied me to write more music and he even makes it a challenge on who can write more songs in a month or in a week. So I thank Cardi cause if he didn’t pressure me about making a new song everyday I probably wouldn’t. Next, my older sister R’Queen. Queen always kept me in high spirits when I started to doubt myself or when I just wanted to give up rapping and be a regular person. Queen is also one of the best hype man ever and she is the reason that I feel so comfortable when I’m on the stage, and I thank her for that. My last two siblings, Sparkle Rayne and Rich girl bless. Rayne and blessing are my two backup dancers and they also make me feel more comfortable, and they let me know that I’m not doing this by myself. And last but not least my late Uncle Drake (Dolce DRAKO). My uncle Drake was like a dad, and he was also a rapper. When my uncle passed me and my sister Queen wrote a song dedicated to home and at his funeral we performed it and on that day I told myself I was gonna be a rapper for him. So I started for my uncle Drake who supported me, motivated me and inspired me to continue my craft no matter what. Y’all can go listen to his music on all platforms @dolcedrako
