We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Coane and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, what do you attribute your success to?
Listening to our customers and making sure we provide them the value that we state: Making it easier for them to understand and maximize their miles and points.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
PEX+ is a search engine that helps consumers and businesses maximize their airline miles, hotel points, and credit card points. We’re the only source where consumers and businesses can manage and shop with all of their loyalty program points in one place.

The road to where we are today was laden with many twists and turns, each with it’s own industry-governed challenges and market demands that we had to bend with. That’s really the key, being in-tune with the industry and making our innovation balanced to benefit both sides.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I remember when I first moved to Houston. I was absolutely mesmerized by the Medical Center. A “city within the city” devoted to the health and well-being of our greater community is something I’ve never seen elsewhere in all my travels. I’m a fan of the uptown and river oaks districts so we’d probably be doing a bunch of dining and hanging out in these areas. Uptown Sushi, True Food, La Table, Sichuan Bistro, Post Oak Hotel, Granduca, 5K runs at Memorial Park. A drive down town to Galveston and over to Kemah would be a must. My friends know I’m into cars and Hennessey, home of the up-and-coming Vemon F5 Hypercar, is just outside Houston in Sealy. I think that’s worth a drive (pun intended).

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This is unquestionably a team effort and I thank everyone directly involved in the success of PEX+, as well as family and friends who’ve cheered from the sidelines through thick and thin.
