Why did you pursue an artistic or creative career?

Deciding to pursue an artistic or creative career path isn’t for the faint of heart. Challenges will abound, but so many of the artists we speak with couldn’t be happier with their choice. So, we asked them about how they made the decision in the first place.

I started this business from a very personal place. I once had a tattoo from a previous relationship, and as I moved forward and began a new chapter in my life, I realized it was hard to fully embrace something new while carrying a visible reminder of my past. I pursued a creative career because it’s the most natural way for me to express myself and connect with people.
