Hi Seth, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is bringing happiness to pet lovers and inspiration to those who are watching me.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Kennedy’s Pet Services is a pet grooming salon that offers outstanding services and products to pet lovers. I am most proud that we are able to make pet lovers smile by cleaning up their pets. I got to where I am today by staying down with the same business through its highs and lows. I learned from countless mistakes and I am still learning. It was never easy. It is a challenge to be taken serious as a black man in the pet industry by customers and employees. I overcame that challenge by creating culture within the company and providing more experience for both customers and employees. I have learned patience and how to better delegate responsibilities. I want the world to know that Kennedy’s Pet Services is a family business. Our employees and clients are our family!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would tell them to shop in the galleria area and to get food and drinks in 3rd Ward and midtown. I would also let them know to check out the Italian restaurant next door to Kennedy’s Pet Services.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The city of St. Louis, MO is a big part of my success. I have learned most of my lessons in St. Louis. You cannot spell Hustle without the STL.
