Hi Johann, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind our success and the KAJI S.A. brand is our ability to teach players of all levels. Our methodology focuses on teaching players a step by step process to being successful with each and every technical gesture that we introduce, Our attention to detail and specific feedback allows the players to improve and become successful with all the components that we are teaching them weather is in a small group setting, team training or 1on1,

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
KAJI Soccer Academy has been in business for 5yrs. We are a small soccer academy that offers technical skills training to players of all levels in small group setting, 1on1 training or team environment. The motivation behind starting KAJI S.A was seeing the high number of young soccer players that lacked proper foundation with their technical abilities, in addition we were very motivated by the players’ lack of creativity and initiative to express themselves on the field. It has not been easy to get to where we are at today, Some of the challenges have been securing quality facilities & scheduling. Our training is supplemental to most players and with busy schedules it is some times difficult to secure sustainable #’s even though the interest is there. We managed to stay consistent with our days & times for our group classes in addition to providing a top notch indoor facility in order to attract more & more kids. We also added quality coaches to our staff in order to increase our flexibility from a scheduling standpoint. “The KAJI way” as we like to call it, sets itself apart from other programs out there due to the way that we transmit the knowledge to our young players. Our methodology consist of teaching a step by step process in order for players to have a proper understanding of how I as a player need to approach each soccer component or technical gesture that I am learning in order to master it and continue being better at it. All of the players in our program will successfully know and be able to describe step by step do’s & don’ts to a specific technical gesture they are currently learning or working on. Even though they might not be able to perform it well or they have not mastered it yet, we feel it is super important that they know what are the do’s & don’ts to performing it. Building strong technical foundations with both feet will give players confidence and love for the game, this is why our methodology and approach is proven to work and help all players improve. The world needs to know that we are very passionate about the game, and we transmit this passion to our players day in and day out. This passion is manifested in the day to day work that goes into ensuring that every player of any level will improved their skill set and become more creative than what they were before coming to us

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely take my friend for a night out at Fabian’s Latin Flavors. Great food, electric environment with great music where you can dance your night away. Of course how can you not visit NASA & Kemah

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to recognize my mom Ivett Hughes. I’d like to dedicate a huge shoutout to for her unconditional love, support & encouragement throughout this venture. My wife Angelica Mondragon deserves much recognition as well for motivating me& supporting to start up KAJI S.A. In addition believing that starting my own soccer academy would be a success
