We had the good fortune of connecting with Howard Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Howard, what is the most important factor behind your success?
There’s 3 things that play apart in the success of my brand & that’s Hard work , Talent & Gods Favor. The most important factor is HARD WORK!!!!!! You have to go hard! Because when the dust settles it’ll be all about who wanted it the most, not who’s most talented.Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart as a designer I feel is my work ethic. I sometimes don’t sleep for days. I think in the world that we live in today because of social media a lot of us young creatives have the power to reach a broader audience at a rapid speed. That’s exciting. And so I’m going to use that as a tool and put out as much as I can for the world to see. One day the right person will see it. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Sooo a fun night for me and my friends will be at our house! Lol someone will host something at their house and we all get together and have a good time. It’s just better that way. A more intimate setting for us to just wild out and have fun! We would prob make cocktails and play games all night! We love it!Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes! My family & friends have played a major part! Without them I probably wouldn’t have had the confidence to jump head first into doing this. From all the encouraging text, prayers and non stop support. Also, my former teacher who helped & guided me when I was first starting off her name is Synethia. I’m forever grateful for her & the time we spent together.
