We had the good fortune of connecting with Adam Ross Leibold and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Adam Ross, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
My success comes from my experience in the industry and having a bar none great product and service alongside with knowing product and clientele. We treat all of our clients the same and take pride on that. I was blessed to have an amazing mentor show me the ropes. When starting a business in any field you must know your product is the best. We have the best quality fabrics in the world and do NOT cut any corners. I want my clients to receive a garment that will last a lifetime, not a year. We partner with the finest Italian, English and French fabric mills in the world. We provide both both a bespoke or a custom made experience. Every client that walks into our shop has a paper pattern made specifically for them. I have an amazing clientele base and we are proud and happy to give them a 5-Star product and service.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The process of getting custom-fitted is a craft within itself. It’s a six-step process that takes a lot of attention. The custom suit fitting process consists of a full wardrobe consultation, 40 plus measurements, fabric and detail selection and styling, fitting and tailoring, and continued garment care advice. Then the Bespoke experience is an 8-week experience unlike any other and is an art within its craft with no room for error. There’s no fusion with glue with any of my suits. Everything is hand-sewn and perfect for any element. We specialize in making sure that clients are getting the world’s finest qualities that money can buy. We also take pride in being a consulting business rather than just custom fitting.
I’ve been in the business for nearly a decade and gained plenty of experience from my past and with good mentorship from some of the best in the industry. It wasn’t easy especially with launching my company right in 2020 before the pandemic started. That was definitely the biggest challenge so far and still continues to be something that we’re overcoming. However, we’re fortunate that the business is still thriving.
I’ve definitely learned some lessons. I’ve learned that everybody is different, and every suit is different just like a person. I don’t consider this a job, but instead a passion. I’ve learned that there are lots of hurdles in life with running a business, so It’s important to have fun and be kind. Entrepreneurship is definitely not as easy as it seems, but it’s an ongoing learning process. It’s also important for me to help out in the community when I can. That’s why I’m donating 10% of my sales through May to the Mattress Mack Foundation.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m an advocate of entertaining and getting out and networking. I love to host family and friends at my home, but also enjoy getting out and about in the city. I really enjoy hitting up patio bars such as Kirby Ice House. I enjoy playing golf, Wildcat Golf Course is one of my favorite courses to play. I’m also a big scotch and cigar guy. Blend Bar in the Woodlands is one of my favorite spots. They have one of the best cigar collections in town. I’m also a big fan of the Hip Hop community that Houston provides. You can catch me at at any Paul Wall concert at the city. My family and I love to go fishing and camping across Texas. My favorite restaurant that I would take someone if they were visiting would be Brenners on the Bayou. I love the food and the aesthetic of the steakhouse. As I mentioned, I’m a patio guy, and Brenners on the Bayou has one of the best outdoor spaces in Houston.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely. The person I would like to give a special SHOUTOUT to is the one and only Jim Mcingvale, aka Mattress Mack of Gallery Furniture in Houston, Texas. This man of God has truly been an inspiration to me personally, as well as a hero to our entire community. Sure, he’s a great businessman, but what inspires me the most about him is his continuous and relentless effort to support our local community in times of great need. As entrepreneurs, we should all have a role model, and I’m very blessed to have the opportunity to partner with him to help give back to our city.
