We had the good fortune of connecting with Kringe and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kringe, why did you pursue a creative career?
I whole heartedly believe this is what I was made to do. Music is so powerful and I don’t think people understand how much it actually affects the world. This is the most powerful form of expression. This stuff truly helps people and that’s all I want to do. Help change peoples lives for the better.
Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
What sets me apart is not for me to try to convince, but something you feel when you hear what I make. I do the production and music videos on my computer myself so there’s no middle man to go through to distort my vision and emotions I’m trying to get across. I pour the pain and emotions of my experiences into all I do in whatever genre comes across me, while still being cohesive…and most of all my relationships with the supporters. I love these guys man. I’m always giving merch, advice, opportunity, whatever I can do for them I’m there. I flew one of these guys out from Maine to star in my music video because he was telling me how much he loved the album, so I was like “naw bro I need you to come out here and be a rockstar for the day.” I changed his world, and he honestly changed mine.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would for sure take them to the Montrose Market and all the vintage clothing spots to start off the day before the heat gets disgusting. There’s so much food places out here I wouldn’t even know where to start! Food trucks, food trucks, and food trucks. All my friends make music though so a week long trip would for sure end at the studio and different studio places. I can really be a workaholic…I work for work and work for fun!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Jason from Barron Studios has been my engineer for 6 years now…that man has been such a strong mentor and consistent support on this journey. He truly aided my sound development and development as a person too. So much wisdom. I wouldn’t be here without him no doubt in my mind.
