We had the good fortune of connecting with Shayna | Tiara Marshall | Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shayna | Tiara, what role has risk played in your life or career?
GirlBoss Suites Houston was a risk. We built this brand in less than a year and expanded to Houston, but our mission is solid for businesswomen by businesswomen and we want to take our online community and co-working spaces globally, so risks are necessary. We invested a lot of time, finances, and time in making this brand grow, we believe in it that much. Risks are always rewards when you have faith, business and dreams are all about faith, hard work, and dedication. You have to truly trust God in your dreams and he will always make a way. Risks have been a major part of success, and that is really all you can do when you believe in yourself.

What should our readers know about your business?
GirlBoss Suites is for business women by women, we have a global community and co-work spaces. We are unique because we are powered by true influencers and women who make impact everyday. We are 6+ figure earners and we want to see every woman in business do the same and help women aspiring to be in business go to the next level. This journey was not easy and that is why this community is so important because we don’t want women to go through what we been through in business, we want them to excel and move forward with accountability and support. The challenge was definitely surviving in the pandemic with a brand new business that had just opened Februaury 2020. We live by “If you take care of business, business will take care of you”. We want the world to know that if you have a dream, goal, or vision all is possible with God. You just gotta believe and do the work.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would first stop by GirlBoss Suites Houston to get some work done and map out the week, get a guest work out pass at Orange Theory Highland Village (amazing work out), eat at a new restaurant in the Galleria every day, take a jog at Bayou Park, make sure we grab drinks at Kamp Houston, and hookah at Nomads. It is so many places in Houston we can go to, and so much to explore.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to dedicate this to God. God blew this dream up and we are forever grateful.
