We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Camario and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve worked in the furniture industry since 2008 over the years I seen too many good people get taken advantage of especially during hurricane Harvey people needed furniture to replace their furniture that got flooded and we were told by the owner of the company I was with at the time to add 4% more to the sale because he knew a lot of people would need furniture that was pretty much the last straw I was laid off a month after that’s when I decided to open my own online furniture company to provide customers with great quality furniture at an affordable price I knew everything from sales, inventory, pricing, assembling the furniture and delivering it so my thoughts were just do it for myself

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
In 2017 I started Milagro Furniture online selling through social media sites mainly Facebook the hardest obstacle I had to overcome was the fact my company was unknown and the fact I had no storefront so people would tell me ‘how do I know you’re legit and wont run off with my money” so as we grew and people started leaving good reviews and comments customers would tell their friends and their friends would tell their family and friends and it just started spreading from there but still this day even with a store I run into a few customers who still a little nervous about paying upfront what sets us apart is because we started online first we learned how to play with numbers how to keep our overhead down and cut costs to be able to give our customers the lowest prices in not just Houston but in Texas I’m proud to have finally open our store at 19005 FM 529 suite 105 Cypress, TX 77433 and excite about all the opportunities that have open for us such as we now off financing and hopefully opening another location in the east side of Houston

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would first bring them to my store to see it 😁 then hit Katy Mills mall for some shopping and Andretti’s for some gaming, racing, food and drinks

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
In 2008 I worked with a guy named Mike Doa owner of a few Colortyme franchises at the time he was around 24 it was his first time in the business as was mine so we were all learning on the fly but yet he seemed to have it all and at such a young age he would always take us sales reps out to lunch and would tell us to start saving for our future and start a business with something we love to do years later in 2017 I took his advice and open Milagro Furniture online we sold online for our 1st couple of years saving and now finally open our storefront this year
