We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon & Nicole White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandon & Nicole, what is the most important factor behind your success?
We believe that the most important factor behind our success is consistency. Consistent effort, consistent customer service and consistent willingness to improve have been paramount to our success so far.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
BienVenue Events is our event venue business, now with two locations, Humble and East Downtown! People love our venues because of the dope vibe, open canvas and outstanding customer service. We will continue to strive to go above and beyond to ensure our customers are happy with their experiences in our spaces.

Opening two venues within a year, during a pandemic, wasn’t easy. I think we’ve been successful so far because we’re always willing to listen to our customers and continually improve our services. Our willingness to take each experience as a lesson and not a failure on a consistent basis is key. Also, our community has SHOWN UP to support us in a big way and we’re forever grateful.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Favorite spot in the city: BienVenue Events – Humble and EaDo (of course) Favorite place to eat: Cafe Ryan (Humble), many others…
Favorite place to drink: Royalty Bar & Lounge (Humble) and Reserve 101 (Downtown)

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We’d first like to shoutout our incredibly supportive family & friends who have continually supported us in this endeavor. I’d also like to thank our mentor, Nehemiah Davis, and the Event Space Secrets community for all the guidance and support. We never would have taken this chance without their motivation, inspiration and education.
