We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryan Duran and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
That’s a great question.. I think the first thing that comes to mind when starting your own business, is fear. Fear of failing. During my basketball days in high school, I learned that failure is part of success. I was raised by my mom, divorced, and running her own hair salon business. I fell in love with the opportunity to have something of your own & be able to make money when your not physically there. We are have what it takes to be entrepreneurs & business owners.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Life isn’t easy. Doesn’t matter if your an employee or a business owner. It’s hard. You will loose loved ones on the way, friendship will be cut short, and other life obstacles will come. Once you know that, then you can prepare on your reaction once it happens. I’m not where I want to be, but I’m so glad that I’m not where I used ti be. It’s all about self growth & knowing your worth. Your not going to settle for less if you know you are worth more than the average. I jumped into business at the age of 18 and I had so many obstacles. Biggest obstacles was learning how to be a man, without a role model at home. So I learned that in business with my mentors & married men who had principles. You’ll make mistakes on your journey, but they don’t define who you are.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Man, Houston is filled with activities. It’s super diverse! It all depends what kind of person you are, and the things you like getting into. From top notch restaurants, relaxing spas/treatments, to having fun at a arcade/activity place.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Your circle has a huge influence in the success you have in business. My team is full of guys & girls who want to get to the next level. We always challenge each other & also self improve. Which creates a learning environment. Sometimes your family & close friends won’t be that support group, and you have to be okay with that.
