We had the good fortune of connecting with Pimptress and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pimptress, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursed a career in music because it’s something I always loved. I’ve always enjoyed singing and creating and writing music since a kid. So it was a no brainer that I would do this my entire life! It’s all I think of and it’s what I always dreamed of. I love the reaction from my fans when their listening to my music. I love the reaction from the crowd while I’m performing!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a female artist from Clearwater, Florida. I’ve been pursuing music for over 15 yrs. I’m a singer, rapper, songwriter and I’ve also been dibbling and dabbling in oder things such as modeling and acting and you know doing some small commercials! I want to be an entrepreneur! Although music is my passion! What sets me apart from any other artist is mainly I totally different as far as my sound, versatality, and creative mind! I’m not trying to be like any other artist! I love all types of music so I create all types of music. I can actually say I’m extremely proud of alot of accomplishments I’ve made throughout my entire journey! I’m extremely excited about this summer. I have alot on store for my fans! I got where I am today by never giving up and trusting my process and just believing in myself. No it wasn’t easy at all but I don’t regret anything. I’ve grown and still growing from any mistakes I’ve made in the past and now! I just keep moving forward. No pint of going back. I’m definitely closer to my dream now than if I was to quit and start over just for a few bumps in the road and believe me it has not always been easy. You have to have tough skin in this business! I’ve learned to just keep moving forward! If it doesn’t work one way it’ll work another way. You just have to believe. I just want the world to know me for making great music and all out being an awesome individual that people can admire and look up to. I want people to listen to my music and genuinely enjoy rather it makes you cry, happy, sad, dance, etc!!! #MyGrindontStop and neither should anyone else’s!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I live in Florida so there’s many things to do like beaches, clubs, amusement parks etc! I enjoy amusement parks especially water parks! Lol I’m like a big kid! I enjoy taking kids to fun places so that’s also something I love to do! There’s all kind of things going on because it’s getting close to summer. Right now it’s spring break in Florida so it’s pretty lit! I could really show someone a good time in tampa bay!!!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Most importantly I’d just like to thank all my fans who have been supporting me since day 1! Streaming my music, buying my merchandise and just genuinely supporting me at my shows etc!!! The love is real! Without my fans I’m nothing to be completely honest!
